Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development, John Gates, manages new business and key customer development and has impacted company growth through new channel expansion in several large regional retailers and telecommunication companies.

Prior to joining SecurityCoverage, Mr. Gates was a Corporate Officer with Maytag Appliances responsible for $1.5 b in sales. Mr Gates has served in several executive sales leadership roles in multiple channels including responsibility for Maytag Appliances Corporate account teams, independent retailers and buying group structure, Maytag Builder Sales, and the outbound sales division. Additionally, Mr. Gates served on the development team responsible for the design and implementation of Maytag’s Go-To-Market Strategy. With over 28 years of sales leadership experience, he joined SecurityCoverage in September 2006.

A native of Iowa, Mr.Gates received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing from the University of Northern Iowa.
