Controller, Jeff Behnke, is responsible for directing the overall accounting functions of the company.  In his role, he oversees financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.

Prior to joining Security Coverage in July 2018, Mr. Behnke served as the Controller for J&P Cycles from 2006 through 2017, where he oversaw all accounting related activities for the company.  In that position, he was responsible for streamlining the financial close process, departmental training, financial reporting, and management of staff at multiple locations throughout the country.  Mr. Behnke also served as a subject matter expert on multiple software and ERP implementations.

Before joining J&P Cycles, Mr. Behnke served as the Controller for Nordstrom Oil Company from 1999 to 2006, where he prepared monthly financial reports which consolidated multiple companies, lead financial and 401k audits and managed sales and property taxes for more than 40 locations.

Prior to joining J&P Cycles, Mr. Behnke was the Director of Accounting at McLeod USA Publishing Company, where he implemented various new reporting systems and conducted due diligence for many acquisitions.

A native of Iowa, Mr. Behnke has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa.
