SecurityCoverage Named a NCSAM Champion
SecurityCoverage demonstrates its commitment to cyber security by becoming a National Cyber Security
Cedar Rapids, Iowa (July 22, 2013)
SecurityCoverage Inc. has been named a Cyber Security Champion by the National Cyber Security Alliance. To coincide with this appointment, SecurityCoverage will launch a series of educational messages and releases in October to help promote the National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM) message on the importance of cyber security.
“NCSAM has played an important role in educating the public about the very real risks that we fight every day,” said President and CEO Robert O’Dell. “We see the effects of failed security all the time, and the devastating impact of those failures in terms of lost time, identity theft, expensive costs and unrecoverable information and memories. We are honored by receiving ‘Champion’ status from NCSAM as mutual recognition of our commitment.”
National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM) is a national public awareness campaign run throughout the month of October that encourages individuals, businesses, organizations and government to each do their part to protect their computers and our nation’s critical cyber security infrastructure. Both NCSAM and SecurityCoverage will celebrate their 10th anniversaries in October 2013.
